How to obtain your hotel code or SIRE ID
The SIRE is the electronic means implemented by the Special Administrative Unit of Colombian Migration to report the entry and exit of foreign citizens in Colombia.
Obtaining the SIRE (Spanish National Registry of Foreigners) is a crucial step for any entity or individual with ties to foreigners in Colombia. This system ensures compliance with immigration regulations and facilitates the management of information on foreigners in the country.
To obtain your SIRE ID:
You must be registered. If you haven't, log in here:
Follow these steps once you have registered:
- Access the Colombian Migration portal: Go to the official Colombian Migration website (www.migracioncolombia.gov.co).
- Log in to your account: If you've already registered, log in with your username and password in the SIRE section.
- Download or view your certificate: Once you're in your profile, you should find an option to download or view your registration certificate. This document typically displays your SIRE ID along with your personal information.
- Check the personal information section: If you don't see the ID on the certificate, check your personal information or profile section within the platform; it should also be available there. The ID is located under "Update legal entity information" on the SIRE page.
