How do I connect my Despegar account?
Please follow these simple steps to connect your Despegar account:
STEP 1: Connect in Despegar
- **Log in to Despegar Extranet - **Go to [extranet.despegar.com]() and sign in with your property credentials.
- Navigate to Connectivity / Channel Manager - **In the main menu, look for **General Settings → Channel Manager Connection.
- **Add Your Channel Manager - **From the list of certified channel managers, select ChannexConfirm you want Despegar to connect to it.
- Authorization & Confirmation - **Despegar will generate an authorization request and notify your channel manager.On your channel manager side, you’ll usually need to enter your **Despegar Hotel ID (appears in your extranet dashboard).
- **Room & Rate Mapping - **In your channel manager, map each room type and rate plan to Despegar’s setup.Make sure occupancy, policies, and currencies are aligned (Despegar is very strict with mismatched room mapping).
STEP 2: Go to the Channel Manager section in the Aloha Pro main menu, then select the Channels option. Click Create button.

STEP 3: A Create Channel pop-up will appear, next select the General Settings tab where you will then choose Despegar from the drop down menu. Fill out the necessary information found in your Despegar account, then click Next at the bottom of the pop-up to proceed with the Mapping section to connect each corresponding unit in Despegar to the ones in Aloha.
