Viewing Payment Cards from the Reservation Detail

The payment card viewing feature allows authorized users to access the guest’s card details directly from the reservation detail.


🎯 Objective

Enable the end user to perform legitimate and necessary charges, such as:

  • No show
  • Property damage
  • Penalties or authorized additional charges


🔐 Key Requirement

Viewing card details is only possible with the “Guarantees” permission enabled, which must be granted by the Customer Success (CS) team.

Without this permission, card details will not be visible.


🪜 Steps to View the Card

  1. Access the reservation detail.
  2. Go to the “Guarantees” tab. → Card data will be hidden by default.
  3. Click the eye icon to request card visibility.
  4. Read and confirm the warning modal regarding access to sensitive data.
  5. Once confirmed, the card details will become visible.


⚠️ Important Considerations

  • ❌ Storing, copying, or using this information illegally is strictly prohibited.
  • 📋 All accesses are internally logged, including:
    • User
    • Date and time
    • IP address
  • 🚨 In case of legal issues, this information can be audited.


⏳ Card Visibility Limit

  • Card details can be viewed only 3 times per reservation.
  • Once the 3 views are used:
    • ❌ The card details will never be visible again.
    • This is due to OTA and legal restrictions.


📌 Recommendation

Make sure to view the card only when you are ready to use it, to avoid losing the available visibility attempts.
