Tax Configuration in Aloha for Direct Bookings

In Aloha, you can easily configure the applicable taxes for your direct bookings, adapting to the regulations of your country. Some countries require taxes to be charged depending on the guest's origin (national or international), and with Aloha, you can personalize this configuration according to your needs.


Follow these simple steps to configure the taxes:


  1. Access the Tax Configuration Section

Log in to your Aloha account.

Go to the Manage System section in the main menu.

Select the Tax Configuration option.



  1. Enable Tax Configuration

Activate the tax configuration option to enable it.

This will allow you to define who should pay the taxes on your bookings.

  1. Define Who Pays the Tax

Choose one of the available options according to your country's regulations:


  • National Guests
  • International Guests
  • Both (National and International)
  1. Assign Tax Details


  • Tax Name: Enter a descriptive name for the tax (e.g., "National VAT" or "International Fee").
  • Increase Percentage: Specify the percentage of the tax that will be applied to bookings.

Apply and Verify the Configuration

Click on the Apply button to save the changes.

If you want to see how the tax will appear on your website, select the Preview option. This will allow you to verify everything is set up correctly before publishing it.
