How do I make a group reservation?

Please follow these simple steps to create a group reservation using the individual or group booking options:


Key differences between group reservation options: 
  • Individual booking: The reservation will be managed independently in the system, meaning it will create 2 reservations simultaneously with all the same guest info and a total price.
  • Group booking, duplicate the same booking: The reservation will be managed under one guest with the same occupancy and nightly price. For example: if a group is booking more than 1 room with the same occupancy levels and nightly price, then this option will duplicate the same booking across the selected units.
  • Group booking, create individual per unit: The reservation will be handled between the different guests for their respective rooms. For example: if a group is booking more than 1 room with different occupancy and prices, this option will create the reservations accordingly.


Step 1: Navigate to the Calendar Mode in the Aloha menu, drag and drop dates on the calendar, then select


Step 2: In the pop up window, select the correct date range and units for the reservation


Step 3: When you select more than 1 unit you will notice a new Booking Type section appears with Individual booking and Group booking. If you select individual booking, you will continue with the guest information below.




Step 4: If you select Group booking, you will have 2 more options appear. If you choose Duplicate the same booking, the system will have you enter 1 guests information. If you select Create individual per unit, the system will have you enter the individual information for each guest and their respective rooms.



Step 5: By clicking the Add button at the bottom of the pop up, your reservation will be saved and added to the system.
