Connecting Aloha Pay with Aloha Pro
This guide explains how to connect Aloha Pay with Aloha Pro to enable the creation of payment links directly from a booking's detail view.
Process Overview
1 | Create an API Key in Aloha Pay: Generate a secret key from the Aloha Pay Administration panel. |
2 | **Configure the API Key in Aloha Pro: **Paste the key under General Settings > Payment Methods > Aloha Pay. |
3 | Save and activate: Save the changes to enable payment link creation from bookings. |
Step 1: Create an API Key in Aloha Pay
Before configuring Aloha Pro, you need to generate a secret key (API Key) from the Aloha Pay panel. This key authorizes communication between both platforms.
1.1 Access the API Keys section
Log in to your Aloha Pay panel and navigate to the sidebar menu. Find and select:

1.2 Create a new key
On the API Keys page, click the button in the top-right corner:
+ New API Key |
1.3 Assign a descriptive name
In the dialog that appears, enter a name that identifies the purpose of this key. We recommend something like:
- Aloha Pro Production
- Aloha Pro Integration
Click Create to continue.
1.4 Copy and save the key
⚠️ Important: save your key nowOnce generated, the Secret Key is only shown once. Copy it and store it in a safe place before closing this dialog. If you lose it, you will need to create a new API Key. |
After creating the key, the full Secret Key will be displayed. Copy it to use in the next step.
Step 2: Configure the API Key in Aloha Pro
With the API Key copied, you now need to enter it in the Aloha Pro settings to activate the connection.
2.1 Go to General Settings
From the Aloha Pro panel, navigate to:

2.2 Paste the secret key
Locate the following field:
Aloha Pay Secret Key (Payment Link Creation) |
Paste the API Key you copied from Aloha Pay in Step 1 into that field.
Step 3: Save the configuration
Click the Save button to apply the changes.
✅ All done!, Once the configuration is saved, the integration becomes active. From that moment on, you can create payment links directly from any booking's detail view in Aloha Pro. |
How to create a payment link from a booking?
With the integration active, the flow for sending a payment link to a client is as follows:
- Open the corresponding booking detail in Aloha Pro.
- Find the option to create a payment link within the booking detail.
- Aloha Pro will automatically generate the link using Aloha Pay.
- Share the link with your client so they can complete the payment.
Troubleshooting
Issue | Solution |
I can't find the key field in Aloha Pro | Make sure you are in General Settings > Payment Methods > Aloha Pay (Local Payment). |
I lost the API Key before saving it | You must create a new API Key in Aloha Pay. The original key cannot be recovered. |
The payment link doesn't appear in the booking | Make sure you saved the changes in Aloha Pro after pasting the API Key. |
